As a Scottish visitor to Thailand, I was curious to learn of P.Bird's links to Scotland. I have read that his Father's parents were a Scottish and Thai couple.  Can anyone tell me more about the Scottish connection?  Since McIntyre is a common Scottish family name, this suggests that P.Bird's grandfather (father's father) was Scottish but which part of Scotland was his original home?  I hope that this topic may raise a less familiar but very interesting aspect of P.Bird's family history and help to spread his legend further.

I'm the same as P'Took... P'Bird never really talks about his family background in terms of ethnicity, he only really talks about his childhood and how he grew up. But it would definitely be interesting to know

I would also like to see a pic of his dad. I don't I have seen it before.
